Group Therapy Programs
Group therapy can provide an insightful, collaborative environment to work through challenges alongside others who are experiencing similar concerns. Guided by an experienced psychologist, groups provide a safe, structured space to learn, reflect, and grow — together.
Our groups are carefully designed to be thoughtful, practical, and supportive, with a strong focus on creating a respectful and welcoming environment for everyone involved.
All groups at Forrest Psychology are facilitated by experienced, registered psychologists and run in a professional, confidential setting. We keep groups small to ensure everyone feels safe, supported, and able to engage meaningfully.

Group therapy involves a small group of people meeting regularly with a psychologist to explore shared themes, develop coping skills, and gain insight into their experiences. While everyone’s story is unique, many people find it deeply validating to realise they are not alone in what they’re facing.
Groups may focus on specific topics such as anxiety, relationships, emotional regulation, or life transitions, and often combine guided discussion with evidence-based strategies drawn from approaches such as CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based therapies.
You are never required to share more than you’re comfortable with — participation is always at your own pace.
